The death has occurred of Alan McConnell, Fintona, Co Tyrone.

McConnell Alan (Fintona) formerly of 70 Ashfield Gardens, Fintona, BT78 2DD, died peacefully at home on Tuesday 18th June 2024. Treasured father of Eirinn and Alan. Partner of Lizzie. Much-loved brother of Bernie, Rosaleen Toal, Seamus, Pauline McMenamin, Jeanette Feeney, Monica Monteith, Declan, Fintan, Eimear, Bronagh and the late Roy, Kieran, Tricia and baby Ann. Beloved son of the late Alan and May.

Alan will be reposing in Grianan House Funeral Home, 4 Carnalea Road, Fintona, BT78 2BY from 7pm until 9pm on Thursday 20th June and from 3pm until 9pm on Friday 21st June.

Alan will leave Grianan House Funeral Home at 11.30am on Saturday 22nd June for 12noon requiem mass in St Lawrence’s Church, Fintona followed by his burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Family flowers only with donations in lieu kindly accepted for Chest Heart and Stroke c/o McAtee Funeral Directors.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving daughter, son, partner, sisters, brothers, in-law, nephews, nieces, Teresa the mother of his children and entire family circle and friends. Our Lady pray for him.
