Teresa Gilmore.
4 Ashlands, Omagh Road, Dromore BT78 3JD.
Died 7th September 2022.
Teresa passed away peacefully on the 7th of September 2022. A widely respected, devoted family lady and much-loved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
We, her family wish to express our sincere appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised, prayed for, and supported us through our recent sad bereavement.
We would like to acknowledge all those who paid their respects in any way. Thank-you to those who called to the family home, telephoned, sent Mass or sympathy cards, flowers or donations in lieu of flowers and to those who left messages online or via social media.
Thanks to those who lined the funeral route or who joined us at the Mass or via the webcam. Sincere thanks to our relatives, friends and neighbours who helped in so many ways, to help us grieve as a family.
A special word of thanks to Father Patrick Mac Entee PP for his spiritual support and the comforting Requiem Mass and to Father Denis Dolan for his spiritual support at the wake house. We convey our appreciation also to the Sacristan and everyone who assisted with the Mass, especially our musician James McShane who provided the beautiful music.
Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and especially to Pat for his outstanding care and attention to every detail. Our thanks to the grave digger for preparing Mum’s final resting place, to the Dromore Ladies Committee for the refreshments provided after the funeral and to Sheenagh for the lovely flowers.
We would also like to thank Mum’s carers. They went above and beyond their duties and became very close friends to all the family. Without their outstanding care and support we could not have provided 24 hour care for Mum and Dad in their own home. This now gives us great comfort and support as they are both at eternal rest and together again.
Our thanks also to Phyllis Kelly and all staff at Gortmore day centre for their care and attention to Mum during her time there. And to Fintona Medical Centre, Bradley’s Chemist Dromore and the staff of Ward 8, SWAH for their excellent level of care and attention to Mum during her illness.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude.
Teresa’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Davog’s Church, Dromore on Saturday 15th October at 7pm. Our Lady pray for her.
