Acknowledgement – Sean McSharry, formerly of Fintona, Co Tyrone & late of London.
Died 28th January 2025.

We the family of the late Sean would like to express our deep appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised, prayed for, and supported us through our recent sad bereavement. Sean was a widely respected gentleman, adored father of Michelle, Mark and Lee. Father in law of Paul. Loving partner of Mary. Devoted grandfather of Ria, Shea, Caelan, Lauren and Shannon and great grandfather of Esmee. Much loved brother of Gerry (Theresa), Tommy (Veronica), Myra, Phil (Liam) and the late Ann, Elizabeth and Kathleen. Dearly loved brother, uncle, cousin and friend.

We would like to acknowledge all those who paid their respects in any way. Thank you to those who sent Mass cards, sympathy cards or flowers, and to those who left messages online or via social media.

Thank you to those who called to the wake in Grianan House Funeral Home, helped or brought food. Thanks also to those who lined the funeral route or who joined us at the funeral Mass.

Sincere thanks to all our relatives and friends who helped us in so many ways to grieve as a family.

A special word of thanks to Father Sean Mulligan C.C. for his spiritual support and the very comforting requiem Mass. We convey our appreciation also to the Sacristan and everyone who took part in the Liturgy, especially our readers, and our singer Louise Coyle who provided the beautiful reverent and uplifting music.

Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner, in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the gravedigger Tommy for preparing Sean’s final resting place. Thank you also to Roisin of Nettles and Petals for the lovely floral tributes and to McAtee’s Bar and Restaurant for the very welcome refreshments after the funeral.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude.

Sean is forever loved and missed every day, may his gentle, generous, kind soul be granted peace and eternal rest. Sean’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Lawrence’s Church, Fintona on Saturday 29th March at 6pm.
Our Lady pray for him.
