Acknowledgement – Seamus McGuigan, formerly of Dullaghan Road, Letteree, Dromore.
Died 22nd March 2023.
Seamus passed away on the 22nd of March, a widely respected gentleman and dearly loved brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend. We his family would like to express our deep appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised, prayed for, and supported us through our recent sad bereavement.
We would like to acknowledge all those who paid their respects in any way. Thank you to those who called to the wake house, brought food or helped, and to those who sent Mass or sympathy cards, flowers or donations in lieu, or who left messages on line or via social media.
Thank you to those who lined the funeral route or who joined us at the Mass.
Sincere thanks to all our relatives, friends and neighbours who helped us in so many ways, to grieve as a family.
A special word of thanks to Father Denis Dolan PE for his spiritual support and the comforting requiem Mass. We convey our appreciation also to the Sacristan and everyone who took part in the Liturgy, especially the readers, and our singer James McShane who provided the beautiful music.
Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the gravedigger for preparing Seamus’s final resting place. Our thanks also to Sheenagh, Bumblebee Garden for the lovely flowers and to the St Patrick’s Hall ladies committee for the very welcome refreshments after the funeral.
And finally, we send our grateful thanks to all the staff of Lakeland Carers, Meadowview Care Home, and the South West Acute Hospital, for the care and compassion shown to Seamus during his illness.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude.
Seamus’s Month Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Davog’s Church, Dromore on Saturday 13th May at 7.00pm. Our Lady pray for him.
