MCCARNEY, SEAMUS (JESSIE).
DIED (02/07/2022).
We, the family of the late Seamus McCarney, Fintona, wish to express our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all who sympathised, supported and prayed for us on our recent, sad bereavement. Thank you to our wonderful family, friends and neighbours who worked tirelessly at Seamus’ house and kept vigil there before we could bring him home and also during the wake. We would like to offer our thanks to all those who called to our home, telephoned, sent online condolences, sympathy and mass cards, provided food and refreshments and to those who attended the funeral either in person or virtually. Your support meant so much.
A special word of thanks to all those who cared for Seamus and supported us during his short illness, the paramedics from NIAS and the outstanding staff from A&E, SWAH and Regional ICU, RVH Belfast.
To Father Manuelito Milo who performed the last rites for Seamus, and to Father Seán Mulligan for his support and spiritual guidance and for the beautiful, personal Requiem Mass, we are truly grateful.
Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for the caring, professional and dignified manner in which they conducted the funeral arrangements. Thanks to Louise Coyle for the beautiful music, the gravedigger, and to McAtees Bar for providing refreshments following the funeral.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgment as an expression of our heartfelt gratitude.
Seamus’ months mind mass will be celebrated in St. Lawrence’s Church, Fintona on Friday 29th July at 7.30pm, and can be viewed on the parish webcam.
