Acknowledgement. Sally McNulty, Dromore, Co Tyrone. Died 22nd October 2024

We the family of the late Sally wish to express our sincere appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised, prayed for and supported us, during our recent sad bereavement. Sally was a widely respected lady, beloved wife of the late Eugene. Adored mother of Bernie (Jimmy), Vonnie (Brendan), Dympna (Brendan), Teresa, Patrick, Gaby (Michelle) and Kieran (Colette). Devoted Grandmother and Great Grandmother, Aunt and Friend.

Thank you to everyone who called to the wake house. Sincere thanks to all who helped served tea and food, this was greatly appreciated, and to Noel Mc Quade and Dromore GFC for their help with the traffic arrangements. Our thanks also to those who sent Mass or Sympathy cards, messages or donations in lieu of flowers. Thank you to those who lined the funeral route and to those who joined us at the Requiem Mass or via the webcam.

We are blessed to have the love and support of our family, friends, neighbours and work colleagues, your support throughout this difficult time has helped us in so many ways.

A special word of thanks to Father Denis Dolan PE and Father Eugene Hasson PP for their spiritual support and for concelebrating the very comforting Requiem Mass. We convey our appreciation also to the Sacristan and everyone who took part in the Liturgy, especially our readers, and our singers Fergal, Stevie and Mickey who provided the beautiful reverent and uplifting music.

Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner, in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the gravedigger Eamon for preparing Sally’s final resting place. Also to Sheenagh of Bumblebee Garden for the lovely floral tribute and to the St. Patrick’s Hall ladies for the most welcome refreshments after the burial.

And finally, we send our sincere thanks and deep appreciation to all the medical professionals and carers with whom Sally came into contact, especially the doctors and nurses from Dromore Health Centre, the Marie Curie nurses and June, Julie, Gaby and Michelle who cared so well for Sally. We are very grateful for all your help, and for the warmth and kindness shown to Sally.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude.

Sally is loved and missed every day. May her gentle, kind, generous soul be granted peace and eternal rest. Her Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Davog’s Church, Dromore on Saturday 7th December at 7.00pm. Our Lady pray for her.
