Died 14th February 2026.

The daughter and family of the late Rosary wish to express our sincere thanks and heartfelt appreciation to all who offered condolences, prayers, and support during our recent bereavement.

Rosary was a deeply respected lady, the devoted wife of the late Enda, and the cherished mother of Anita. She was also the sister‑in‑law of Tommy Callaghan, and a much‑loved aunt and friend.

We extend our gratitude to everyone who attended the wake at Rosary’s home, those who helped in any way, and all who brought food—your kindness was greatly appreciated. Thank you to those who sent Mass or sympathy cards, messages online, flowers, or donations in lieu. We are grateful to all who lined the funeral route and to those who joined us for the Requiem Mass.

We are truly blessed by the love and support of our friends and neighbours, whose presence and kindness have given us strength during this difficult time.

Our heartfelt thanks go to all the carers who supported Rosary with such dedication, especially those who visited daily and formed a close bond with her. Their commitment enabled Rosary to remain comfortably in her home for the past five years.

A special word of thanks to Father Denis Dolan P.E. for his spiritual care and the comforting Requiem Mass, and to Father O’Kane for concelebrating. We also acknowledge with gratitude Father McCrystal and Father Pat McEntee, who ministered to Rosary over many years. Our thanks go as well to the Sacristan and to all who participated in the Liturgy—our readers, Eucharistic ministers, and our singer James McShane with his accompanist Joan, whose music was both reverent and uplifting.

We wish to thank McAtee Funeral Directors for their professionalism and dignity in carrying out the funeral arrangements, and Eamon the gravedigger for preparing Rosary’s final resting place. Our appreciation also to Roisin for the beautiful floral tributes, and to the St. Patrick’s Hall ladies for the welcome refreshments following the funeral.

Finally, our sincere thanks go to the medical professionals who cared for Rosary, especially Consultant Dr. Khan, Dr. Reilly, the staff of Dromore Health Centre, and the team at the South West Acute Hospital. We are deeply grateful for the kindness, dedication, and respect shown to her.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deep gratitude.

Rosary is loved and missed every day. May her passionate, kind, and generous soul rest in peace. Her Month’s Mind Mass, celebrated alongside Enda’s fourth anniversary Mass, will take place in St. Davog’s Church, Dromore, Co. Tyrone on Saturday 11th April at 7.00pm. The Mass may also be viewed online at:

Our Lady of Lourdes and St. Bernadette, pray for her.
