Acknowledgement – Rosaleen Rodgers, formerly of 135 Main St, Fintona. Died 27th October 2023.
The family of the late Rosaleen Rodgers would like to express our deep appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised, prayed for, and supported us through our recent sad bereavement. Rosaleen Rodgers was a widely respected lady, wife of the late Charles and a dearly loved, mother, mother in law, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, sister in law, aunt and friend.
We would like to acknowledge all those who paid their respects in any way. Thank you to those who sent Mass or sympathy cards, flowers or donations in lieu, and to those who left messages online or via social media.
Thank you to those who called to the wake house and to those who joined us at the funeral mass. Sincere thanks to our neighbours and friends who helped us throughout the wake in so many ways, we are so grateful.
A special word of thanks to Father Sean Mulligan for his spiritual support and the comforting requiem Mass. We convey our appreciation also to the Sacristan and everyone who took part in the Liturgy, especially the readers, and musicians, Sinead Taggart & Plunkett McGartland.
Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the gravedigger for preparing our mother’s final resting place. Also our thanks, to Kelly’s Inn for the very welcome refreshments after the funeral.
And finally we send our grateful thanks to all the health professionals who helped with Rosaleen both at home and in hospital, Dowdall’s Pharmacy, Fintona Medical Practice, NW Care Omagh, District Nursing Service, Rehabilitation Unit of Omagh Hospital & Primary Care Complex and Ward 23 Altnagelvin Hospital.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude.
Our mother Rosaleen will be forever loved and sadly missed, may her gentle, generous soul be granted eternal rest.
Rosaleen’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Lawrence’s Church, on 25th November at 10am.
