Patsy Mullan.
Garvallagh Road, Aughafad, Fintona.
Died 18th December 2023.
The family of the late Patsy Mullan wish to express our deep appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised and supported us, through our recent sad bereavement.
Our heartfelt thanks to our relatives, neighbours and friends who called at our family home, brought Mass cards, sympathy cards, telephoned and left messages on social media, brought food, lined the funeral route or who joined us at the funeral Mass.
We are ever indebted to all who helped in any way. Especially those who helped in the home, or assisted with traffic management or manned the buses.
We would also like to thank family and kind neighbours, who provided transport to Altnagelvin Hospital to visit Patsy.
A special word of thanks to Father Seán Mulligan for welcoming Patsy’s remains home and celebrating the memories of Patsy’s life in a comforting Requiem Mass.
Sincere thanks to the Hospital Chaplain Father Daniel McFaul for administering the Last Rites.
We convey our appreciation to the Sacristan and everyone who took part in the Liturgy, especially the readers, and our musician Louise Coyle for the beautiful music.
A special thanks to Dr McNicholl and the staff of Ward 50, Altnagelvin Hospital who provided exceptional care to Patsy during his short illness and the support provided to us his family.
Thanks also to staff of Fintona Medical Centre and Una Cassidy’s Chemist for their care.
Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner, in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the gravedigger Tommy for preparing Patsy’s final resting place. Also our thanks to Fintona Funeral Catering Group for the very welcome refreshments after the funeral.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude.
May Patsy’s gentle, generous soul be granted eternal rest, his month’s mind Mass will be celebrated in St Lawrence’s Church, Fintona on Friday 19th January at 7.30pm.
St. Padre Pio Pray for him.
