ARMSTRONG
Patricia
30th April 2024
The sons and daughters and entire family circle of the late Patricia Armstrong would like to express our heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised with us on our sad bereavement. Patricia was a widely respected lady and dearly loved wife of the late Bobby, mother, mother in law, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
We would especially like to thank all our kind and supportive relatives, friends and neighbours who worked tirelessly during the wake. Our sincere thanks to all who attended the wake, sent Mass and sympathy cards, sent flowers, brought food and attended the funeral. Thanks to those who helped with transport and directing traffic over the course of the wake and morning of the funeral. Thanks to Tattyreagh GAC for the use of premises for parking.
We wish to thank the Doctor’s, nurses and staff of Fintona Medical Centre, Cassidy’s Pharmacy, Fintona Medical Hall for their assistance throughout Patricia’s illness. Also special thanks to the district nurses, carers, Foyle Hospice and Marie Currie nurses for their wonderful support during her short illness. We would like to say a heartfelt thank you to Patricia’s nieces and nephews, our kind neighbours and good friends who visited Patricia at home and provided valuable support to the family.
The family would like to express thanks to Fr Hasson for his spiritual support and lovely celebration of the Requiem Mass. Thanks to the sacristan and Eucharistic Ministers. A special word of thanks to Sinead Taggart who provided the beautiful singing at the mass. Thanks to Tattyreagh GAC for the Guard of Honour. To McAtee Funeral Directors for the sensitive, dignified and professional manner in which the entire funeral arrangements were carried out and also thank you to the grave diggers who prepared Patricia’s final resting place.
Sincere thanks to Cheeky Fox Restaurant for the lovely refreshments after the funeral. As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our appreciation.
Patricia is loved and missed every day, may her gentle kind sole be granted peace and eternal rest. Her Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Friday 31st May at 7.30pm in the Sacred Heart Church, Omagh. Our Lady Pray for her.
