Oliver Moore.
Legacurry Road, Beragh, Co Tyrone
Died 16th November 2024.

Oliver passed away peacefully on the 16th November. He was a widely respected and dearly loved family man, and a devoted and deeply treasured father, father in law, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.

We, his family wish to express our sincere appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised, prayed for, and supported us through our recent sad bereavement.  We would like to acknowledge all those who paid their respects in any way including those who called to the wake in Grianan House Funeral Home, telephoned, sent sympathy cards, flowers or donations in lieu, and to those who left messages online or via social media. A heartfelt thank you as well to those who lined the funeral route or who joined us at the funeral service.

Sincere thanks to all our relatives, friends and neighbours who have helped us in so many ways, to support us in our grief as a family.

A special word of thanks to Reverend Jonathan Cowan for his support and for a very moving funeral service which really captured the essence of Oliver. We convey our appreciation also to everyone who assisted with the funeral service, especially our musician Yvonne who provided the beautiful music. Thank you to the caretaker Wesley for all his help.

A special thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors, for the dignified and professional manner, in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the gravedigger Ivan for preparing Oliver’s final resting place. Thank you also to Sheenagh of Bumblebee Garden for the lovely floral tributes and to the Fintona Presbyterian Church ladies for the very welcome refreshments after the funeral.

We would also like to thank the staff of Ward 6 of the South West Acute Hospital and the Palliative Care Nurses, for their outstanding care during Oliver’s illness.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgment as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude and appreciation.

Oliver is ever loved and greatly missed by his sons John, Oliver and Stephen, daughter Lynda, daughters in law Mary and Lesley, his 7 grandchildren, brother Andy, and his entire family circle and friends. To know him, was to love him.
