Noel passed away on the 27th June, a widely respected gentleman and dearly loved husband, father, father in law, grandfather, brother, brother in law, uncle and friend. We his family would like to express our deep appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised, prayed for, and supported us through our recent sad bereavement.
We would like to acknowledge all those who paid their respects in any way. Thank you to those who sent Mass or sympathy cards, flowers, or who left messages on line or via social media.
Thank you to those who called to the wake house, lined the funeral route or who joined us at the Mass. Sincere thanks to all our relatives, friends and neighbours who helped us in so many ways, to grieve as a family.
A special word of thanks to Father Denis Dolan PE for his spiritual support and the comforting requiem Mass. We convey our appreciation also to the Sacristan and everyone who took part in the Liturgy, especially the readers, and our singer Louise Coyle who provided the beautiful music.
Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the gravedigger for preparing Noel’s final resting place. Our thanks also to Sheenagh of Bumblebee flowers for the lovely floral tribute and the St. Patrick’s Hall ladies for the very welcome refreshments after the funeral.
And finally, we send our grateful thanks to the District Nursing Team and the Marie Curie nurses. We are very grateful for all the kindness and compassion shown to Noel and we appreciate all the support he was given that allowed us to have him pass at home as he wished.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude.
Noel is ever loved and missed every day, may his gentle, generous soul be granted eternal rest, his Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Davog’s Church, on Saturday 29th July at 7pm. Our Lady pray for him.
