Died 2nd August 2024.

Mollie’s children Liam, Paul and Sinéad and her extended family wish to express their sincere appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised, prayed for and supported them, through their recent sad bereavement. Mollie was a widely respected lady and dearly loved Mother, Mother in law, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and Friend.

Thank you to everyone who called to the wake in Grianan House Funeral Home. Our thanks also to those who sent Mass or Sympathy cards, messages, or flowers, lined the funeral route and those who joined us at the Requiem Mass.

We are blessed to have the love and support of our family, friends, neighbours and work colleagues, your support throughout this difficult time has helped us in so many ways.

A special word of thanks to Father Eugene Hasson and Father Seán Mulligan and indeed all the present and past priests of Drumragh and Donacavey Parishes and to the Eucharist Ministers from the Cappagh and Drumragh parishes for their spiritual support and many visits to Mollie over recent years.

Thank you to Father Aidan McCaughan, Mollie’s nephew, for visiting and praying with Mollie and for leading the concelebrated Requiem Mass, assisted by Fr Hasson and Canon McGahan (Eskra), which celebrated her life.

We convey our appreciation also to the Sacristan and everyone who took part in the Liturgy including our musicians, Nicola, Eva and Luke Kennedy with Orla Hamill who provided the beautiful reverent and uplifting music

Many thanks also to the pupils, parents and Staff of St. Conor´s PS, Omagh for the Guard of Honour at Mollie’s funeral.

Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner, in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the gravedigger Tommy for preparing Mollie’s final resting place. Our thanks to Anne Johnson for providing the beautiful floral tribute and to the St. Patrick’s Hall ladies for the most welcome refreshments after the burial.

We send our sincere thanks and deep appreciation to all the medical professionals with whom Mollie came into contact, especially the carers who cared for Mollie in her home, the staff of the Springlawn Nursing Home, to Dr Bradley and the staff of the Three Spires surgery and to Slevin’s Pharmacy Omagh. We are deeply indebted for all your support, patience, care, help and assistance.

Finally, we would like to thank all Mollie’s wonderful neighbours and close friends that provided her with company and assistance especially since the passing of her husband, Willie, 19 years ago.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude.

Mollie is loved and missed every day. May her passionate, kind, generous soul be granted peace and eternal rest. Her Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Lawrence’s Church, Fintona on Saturday 31st August at 6.00pm. Our Lady pray for her.
