Acknowledgement – Michael Gallagher, formerly of Dullaghan Road, Doughrock, Dromore, Co Tyrone.
Died 28th June 2024.

We the family of the late Michael would like to express our deep appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised, prayed for, and supported us through our recent sad bereavement. Michael was a widely respected gentleman, dearly loved brother of Molly (Rowan), and a devoted uncle, grand uncle, cousin and friend.

We would like to acknowledge all those who paid their respects in any way. Thank you to those who sent Mass cards or sympathy cards, and to those who left messages online or via social media.

Thank you to those who called to the wake house, helped or brought food.

Special thanks to Michael’s neighbours, the Gallagher Family, for their kindness to Michael over the years, which is greatly appreciated.

Thank you to those who lined the funeral route or who joined us at the funeral Mass.

Sincere thanks to all our relatives, neighbours and friends who helped us in so many ways to grieve as a family.

A special word of thanks to Father Denis Dolan PE for his spiritual support and the comforting requiem Mass. We convey our appreciation also to the Sacristan and everyone who took part in the Liturgy, especially our readers, our singer Sinead Taggart and Damien Cullen on keyboard, who provided the beautiful reverent and uplifting music.

Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner, in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the gravedigger Eamon for preparing Michael’s final resting place. Thank you also to Sheenagh of Bumble Bee Garden for the beautiful floral tributes and to the St. Patrick’s Hall ladies for the very welcome refreshments after the funeral.

And finally, we send our grateful thanks to all the medical professionals with whom Michael came into contact, especially Dromore Surgery, the Community Nurses and Bradleys pharmacy, Dromore. Your excellent care, professional support, warmth, and diligence will never be forgotten.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude.

Michael is loved and missed every day, may his gentle, generous, kind soul be granted peace and eternal rest.

Michaels Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Davog’s Church, Dromore on Sunday 28th July at 10.00am.
Our Lady pray for him.

Arvalee, Omagh, Seskinore, Prestwick and Cambridge.
