Garrity, Maureen. 14 O’Neill Terrace, Dromore.
11th June 2024
The daughters and sons of the late Maureen Garrity (neé Healy) (RIP) express our sincere gratitude to all who sympathised and supported us during our recent bereavement. Grateful thanks to all who offered condolences; to those who sent Mass Cards, Sympathy Cards, letters, phone and social media messages. Thanks to all our family, friends, neighbours and work colleagues who lined the roadside to St Davog’s Church to pay their respects, and who were in attendance at the funeral Mass.
A special thank you to Fr Denis Dolan PE who concelebrated the Funeral Mass with Canon John McKenna, Fr Aidan McCrystal and Fr Peter McCawille; we extend our grateful appreciation to all who participated in the Liturgy, including the gift bearers, the readers, the soloists, and all the musicians for their most fitting contributions. Thanks is also due to the sacristan, the Eucharist Ministers and the gravediggers at St Davog’s Church.
A special word of thanks to the many carers who visited Maureen in her home for their professional attention and also to the GPs and District Nurses. Thank you to the staff of the Emergency Department, Ward 1 and Ward 6 of the South West Acute Hospital Enniskillen for the loving care provided during her final four weeks. Thanks to Fr Dolan, Fr McCawille and Fr McEntee for the spiritual care and support provided during this time, and over the years.
Thanks to McAtee Funeral Directors for the professional and dignified manner in which they carried out the complete Funeral arrangements. Sincere appreciation to the many friends and neighbours who undertook so much work, and gave so much of their time, at the wake. And finally, we thank the Dromore Funeral Ladies who provided excellent refreshments immediately after the funeral in St Patrick’s Hall.
Trusting this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation and gratitude for your kindness, support and prayers at this very sad and difficult time.
A Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Friday 12th July at 7.30 pm in St Davog’s Church Dromore.
