Maureen passed away on the 9th July, a widely respected, devoted family lady and a much loved mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. We, her family wish to express our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all who sympathised, supported and prayed for us on our recent, sad bereavement. We would like to offer our thanks to all those who telephoned, sent online condolences, sympathy or Mass cards. Thanks to those who lined the funeral route or who joined us at the Mass or via the webcam. Your support meant so much.
A special word of thanks to Father Seán Mulligan for his spiritual support and for the comforting Requiem Mass. We convey our appreciation to the Sacristan and everyone who assisted with the Mass, especially our musician James McShane who provided the beautiful singing.
Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for the caring, professional and dignified manner in which they conducted the funeral arrangements and to the gravedigger Tommy for preparing Maureen’s final resting place.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgment as an expression of our heartfelt gratitude.
Maureen’s months mind mass will be celebrated in St. Lawrence’s Church, Fintona on Saturday 13th August at 10am, and may also be viewed via the Donacavey parish webcam.
