Died 4th January 2023 .

Frances passed away on the 4th of January 2023.  A widely respected, devoted family lady and much-loved mother, mother in law, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

We, her family wish to express our sincere appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised, prayed for, and supported us through our recent sad bereavement. 

We would like to acknowledge all those who paid their respects in any way. Thank you to those who called to the family home, telephoned, sent Mass or sympathy cards, flowers or donations in lieu of flowers and to those who left messages online or via social media.

Our thanks to those who lined the funeral route or who joined us at the Mass. Sincere thanks to our relatives, friends and neighbours who helped in so many ways, to help us grieve as a family.

A special word of thanks to Father Seán McCartan PP for his spiritual support and the comforting Requiem Mass. We convey our appreciation also to the Sacristan, Altar boy and everyone who assisted with the Mass, especially our musicians Fergal McAloon and Stephen Corrigan who provided the beautiful music.

Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the grave digger Brendan for preparing Frances’s final resting place.

Our thanks also to Tattyreagh GAC for the use of their car park and to The Cheeky Fox Restaurant for providing the lovely refreshments after the funeral.

We would also like to thank all the staff of Harold McCauley House, who cared so well for Frances with great dedication. Your excellent care, professional support, warmth, and diligence will never be forgotten.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude.

Frances is ever loved and sadly missed.

Frances’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Malachy’s Church, Seskinore on Monday 6th February 2023 at 7.30pm.  Our Lady pray for her.
