Enda passed away on the 3rd of April, a widely respected, much loved family man, husband, father, uncle and friend.  We, his family wish to express our sincere appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised, prayed for and supported us through our recent sad bereavement.  We have been overwhelmed by the sheer volume of mass and sympathy cards and private messages we have received. We would like to acknowledge all those who paid their respects in any way. Our thanks to those who called to the house, who telephoned, who sent Mass or sympathy cards, or flowers and those who left messages online or via social media. Thanks to those who lined the funeral route or who joined us at the Mass or via the webcam. Sincere thanks to our relatives, friends and neighbours who helped out in so many ways, to help us grieve as a family.

We are also grateful for the intervention of nurse practitioner Cliff Walters who attended Enda in the weeks leading up to his hospital admission. We would also like to thank the N.I. Ambulance Service and the staff of the SWAH.

A special word of thanks to Father Patrick MacEntee for his spiritual support and the comforting Requiem Mass. We convey our appreciation also to the Sacristan and everyone who assisted with the Mass, especially our musicians James, Patricia and Joan who provided the uplifting and reverent music. Thanks also to the much-appreciated catering service provided by the Dromore Ladies committee. Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the grave digger for preparing Enda’s final resting place.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude.

Enda’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Davog’s Church, Dromore on Saturday 7th May at 7pm and may also be viewed via the Dromore Parish Webcam.
