Eileen McQuaid,
Trillick, Co Tyrone.
Died 29th November 2025.

We, the family of the late Eileen, wish to extend our deep gratitude and warmest thanks to everyone who offered their condolences, prayers, and support during our recent sad bereavement. Eileen was a widely respected lady, devoted wife of the late Eugene. Adored mother of Colm, Kevin (Caroline), Noreen McCaffery (Philip), Damien (Frances), Fiona and Sean (Brenda), much loved grandmother and great grandmother, and a very dear aunt, and friend.

Thank you to everyone who called to our home, helped or brought food, this was greatly appreciated.  Our thanks also to those who sent Mass or Sympathy cards, messages, flowers or donations in lieu, lined the funeral route and to those who joined us at the Requiem Mass.

We are blessed to have had the love and support of our family, friends, neighbours and work colleagues, throughout this difficult time, this has helped us in so many ways to grieve and find strength together as a family.

A special word of thanks to Very Rev. Father Padraig MacKenna P.P for his spiritual support and the very comforting Requiem Mass and to Very Rev. Canon John McKenna P.E for concelebrating the Mass. We convey our appreciation also to the Sacristan and everyone who took part in the Liturgy, especially our readers, and our singer Louise Coyle and tin whistle player James McCaffrey who provided the beautiful reverent and uplifting music.

Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner, in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the gravedigger Brendan for preparing Eileen’s final resting place. Also to Sheenagh of Bumble Bee Garden for the beautiful floral tributes, and to the ladies in Trillick Leisure Centre for providing the most welcome refreshments after the burial.

And finally, we send our sincere thanks and deep appreciation to all the health care professionals who helped to look after Eileen, especially her dedicated carers, who went above and beyond in their care of our mum. We are so very grateful for all your help and assistance and for the kindness shown to her.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude.

Eileen is loved and missed every day. May her gentle, generous, kind soul be granted peace and eternal rest. Her Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St. Macartans Church, Trillick on Sunday 28th December at 11am. Our Lady pray for her.
