Acknowledgement.
Darren Hamilton,
Omagh, Co Tyrone.
Died 29th April 2025.

Darren passed away peacefully on the 29th April. He was a widely respected and dearly loved family man, sorely missed and loved by his devoted wife Regina, and his adoring sons Devon, Calvin (Tegan) and Rhys, grandchild Ella-Rose, father Gordon (the late Ann), sisters Marie and Dilly and brothers Andy, Brian and Scott (the late Desy), half brother of Lynsey, Gary and Jackie. Caring uncle and great uncle to all his nieces and nephews, nephew, and good friend.

We, his family wish to express our sincere appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised, prayed for, and supported us through our recent sad bereavement. We would like to acknowledge all those who paid their respects in any way including those who called to the wake in Grianan House Funeral Home, telephoned, sent flowers, sympathy cards, or left messages via social media. A heartfelt thank you as well, to those who joined us at the funeral service.

Sincere thanks to Catherine Hamilton, Kurstin Watson, Dianne Crawford and Wendy Irwin for helping with the refreshments at the wake. Our thanks also to Allison Slaine for her very kind gesture.

The Hamilton family as a whole, would like to thank everyone for all their comforting words and for being there for us all, to support us in our grief as a family.

A special word of thanks to Reverend Jonathan Cowan for his support and for a very moving funeral service, which really captured the essence of Darren.

A special thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors, for the dignified and respectful way in which they conducted every aspect of the funeral, and for accommodating the family’s wishes. Thank you to the gravedigger Ivan for preparing Darren’s final resting place and to the caretaker Wesley for all his help. Also to Roisin of Nettles and Petals for the lovely floral tribute.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgment as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude and appreciation.

Darren is ever loved and greatly missed every day, to know him was to love him. Safe in the arms of Jesus.
