Acknowledgement.
Dan Healy, Dromore, Co Tyrone.
Died 11th December 2025.

We, the family of the late Dan wish to express our sincere appreciation and heartfelt thanks to everyone who sympathised, prayed for and supported us through our recent sad bereavement. Dan was the devoted husband of Mary, adored father of Martina, Dolores, Anthony, Declan and Gavin and father-in-law of John, Mark, Rachel, Julie and Dervla. Dearly loved grandfather of Dale, Ryan, Daniel, Ciaran, Fanchia, Keelan, Dermot, Mackenzie, Árón, Fabian, Kelisha and Keeva. Great grandfather of Grace, Aodhán and Rían Óg.  Much-loved brother-in-law, uncle and friend.

We would like to thank everyone who sent Mass or Sympathy cards, messages, or flowers, lined the funeral route or who joined us at the Requiem Mass.

We are blessed to have had the love and support of our family, friends, neighbours and work colleagues throughout this difficult time, your support has helped us in so many ways, to find strength and grieve together as a family.

A special word of thanks to Father Denis Dolan PE for his spiritual support and the very comforting Requiem Mass. We convey our appreciation also to the Sacristan and everyone who took part in the Liturgy, especially our readers, gift carriers and musicians Fergal McAloon and Patrick Slevin who provided the beautiful reverent and uplifting music. Also, Seamus and Enda McGlone for the beautiful music at the graveside.

Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the grave digger Eamon for preparing Dan’s final resting place. Our thanks also to Sheenagh from Bumblebee Garden for the beautiful floral tributes and to the ladies in St.Patricks Hall for the most welcome refreshments after the burial.

Finally, we wish to send our sincere thanks and deep gratitude to all the medical professionals with whom Dan came into contact with. Especially McDermotts Pharmacy, Dromore Surgery, the district nurses, South West Acute Hospital, Ward 3 Altnagelvin Hospital and Lakeland Community Care. We are very grateful for the kindness and respect shown to him whilst in their care.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude.

Dan is loved and missed every day. May his gentle, kind, generous soul be granted peace and eternal rest. His Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Davog’s Church, Dromore on Saturday 24th January at 7.00pm. Our Lady pray for him.
