Bridget passed away peacefully in Craigavon Hospital after a short illness on Thursday 9th March 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was a lady of very deep faith and will be sadly missed by her sisters, brother, nieces, nephews, in-laws and entire family circle.
We, her family, wish to convey our sincere thanks to all the dear friends, relations and neighbours who sympathised or supported us in any way on the death of our beloved sister. Our gratitude to The Lir Fold, Keady, Co. Armagh, The Clanabogan Drama Circle, Omagh, Co. Tyrone and The Owens Family, U.S.A. for their touching messages and beautiful floral bouquets
Our appreciation to all who contributed to the sacred liturgy at her Funeral mass including The Readers, The Gift-carriers, The Musicians, The Sacristan and The Eucharistic Minister.
A special word of thanks to Fr. Sean Mulligan for the uplifting Requiem Mass especially the moving and heartfelt homily which was deeply appreciated by all the family.
Sincere gratitude to Fr. Damien Quigley, Chaplain, Craigavon Area Hospital who anointed Bridget with The Last Rites of the Catholic Church before she passed away, giving her a deep calmness and serenity.
Thank you to Mc Atee’s Funeral Directors for the sensitive and compassionate manner in which they carried out their duties and to Tommy Boyle for tastefully preparing Bridget’s final place of rest.
Thanks also to ‘Tony’s On The Green’ for providing the welcome meal after the funeral.
Bridget’s family are profoundly grateful to you all for your sympathy and support. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
Bridget’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated at the Vigil Mass in St. Lawrence’s Church, Fintona on Saturday 29th April 2023 at 6:00pm.
