Acknowledgement – Brian McGuigan, formerly of Fintona & Omagh, Co Tyrone. Died 17th February 2024.
The family of the late Brian would like to express our deep appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised, prayed for, and supported us through our recent sad bereavement. Brian was a widely respected gentleman and a dearly loved brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend
We would like to acknowledge all those who paid their respects in any way. Thank you to those who sent Mass or sympathy cards, flowers or donations in lieu and to those who left messages online or via social media.
Thank you to those who called to the wake in Grianan House Funeral Home, lined the funeral route or who joined us at the Mass. We are extremely grateful to our family, friends and neighbours who brought and prepared food for the wake and helped make the tea.
A special word of thanks to Father Seán Mulligan CC for his spiritual support and the comforting requiem Mass. We convey our appreciation also to the Sacristan and everyone who took part in the Liturgy, especially the readers, and Louise Coyle who provided the beautiful uplifting music.
Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional way the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the gravedigger Tommy for preparing Brians final resting place. Our thanks also to McAtee’s Bar and Restaurant for the very welcome refreshments after the funeral.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude.
Brian is forever loved and sadly missed, may his gentle, generous soul be granted eternal rest, his Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St. Lawrence’s Church, Fintona on Wednesday 20th March at 10.00am. Our Lady of Lourdes pray for him.
