Beryl Slack
Dromore, Co Tyrone
Died 30th January 2026

We, the family of the late Beryl, wish to extend our deep gratitude and warmest thanks to everyone who offered their condolences, prayers and support during our recent sad bereavement.  Beryl was the devoted wife of the late Paul, adored mother of Darryl (Andrea) and Joseph, much loved Grandmother, dearly loved sister, sister in law, aunt and friend, and was widely respected by all who knew her.

Our thanks to those who called to the wake in our home, to those who brought food or helped, this was greatly appreciated. Also to those who sent Mass or Sympathy cards, messages or flowers and to those who lined the funeral route or who joined us at the Requiem Mass.

We are so blessed and thankful to have had the love and support of our family, friends, neighbours, work colleagues and the wider community throughout this difficult time. Your support has helped us in so many ways to find strength together to grieve as a family.

A special word of thanks to Father Denis Dolan P.E. for his spiritual guidance and support, and for the beautiful requiem Mass.  We also convey our appreciation to the Sacristan and everyone who took part in the Liturgy, especially our readers, gift bearers and to Harmonise who provided the beautiful and uplifting music which added so much to the funeral service.

Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the gravedigger, Eamon, for preparing Beryl’s final resting place, also to Mary of Howe’s Flowers for the lovely floral tribute.

Finally, we send our sincere thanks and deep appreciation to all the medical professionals with whom Beryl came into contact. We are very grateful for the kindness and respect shown to her.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude.

Beryl was greatly loved by her family and by everyone who knew her, and she will be very sadly missed.  May her gentle, kind and generous soul be granted peace and eternal rest. Our Lady pray for her.
