Acknowledgement – Annie Goodman, formerly of 67 Barr Road, Fintona – Died 8th October 2023.
The family of the late Annie Goodman would like to express our deep appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised, prayed for, and supported us through our recent sad bereavement.
We would like to acknowledge all those who paid their respects in any way. Sincere thanks to those who sent Mass or sympathy cards, flowers, and to those who left messages on line or via social media.
Thank you to those who called to the wake house, lined the funeral route or who joined us at the funeral Mass. Sincere thanks to all our relatives, friends and neighbours who helped us in so many ways, to grieve together as a family.
A special word of thanks to Father Seán Mulligan for his spiritual support to our Mother and the family, and for the comforting and heart-felt requiem Mass. We convey our appreciation also to everyone who took part in the Liturgy, and our singer Louise Coyle who provided the beautiful music.
Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner, in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and to Gary and Tommy for preparing Mum’s final resting place. Our thanks also to the St Patrick’s Hall ladies for the very welcome refreshments after the funeral.
We are grateful to all the carers who looked after Mum over the years, when she was in her own house and the Three Rivers Home, Omagh for making Mum comfortable when she was in their care.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude.
Mum was greatly loved and will be missed every day. May her gentle, generous soul be granted peace and eternal rest. Her Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Lawrence’s Church, Fintona on Saturday 18th November at 10.00am. Our Lady pray for her.
