Cissie Meegan.
Died 29th October 2022.
Cissie passed away on the 29th of October 2022. A widely respected, devoted family lady and much-loved mother, mother in law, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend.
We, her family wish to express our sincere appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised, prayed for, and supported us through our recent sad bereavement.
We would like to acknowledge all those who paid their respects. Thank-you to those who called to the family home, telephoned, sent Mass or sympathy cards or flowers and to those who left messages online or via social media.
Thanks to those who lined the funeral route or who joined us at the Mass. Sincere thanks to our relatives, friends and neighbours who helped in so many ways, to help us grieve as a family.
A special word of thanks to Canon Noel McGahan P.P. for his spiritual support over the years and the comforting Requiem Mass. We convey our appreciation also to the Sacristan and everyone who assisted with the Mass, especially our musician Damian Cullen and singers Louise Coyle and Eavan Prenter and Barry Donnelly for the video.
Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the grave digger Brendan for preparing Cissie’s final resting place. Also The Bridge Tavern staff who provided the refreshments after the Mass.
We would also like to thank Cissie’s carers, Clogher Valley Day Centre, Una Cassidy Chemist, Fintona Medical Centre and the doctors and staff of the South West Acute Hospital, for their excellent level of care and attention to Cissie during her illness.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude.
Cissie’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Patrick’s Church, Eskra on Saturday 3rd December at 12noon. Our Lady of Knock pray for her.
