Acknowledgement – Sybil Early, formerly of 118 Corbo Road, Seskinore, Died 24th September 2026

The family of the late Sybil Early would like to express our deep appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised, prayed for, and supported us through our recent sad bereavement. Sybil was a widely respected lady and a dearly loved wife, mother, mother in law, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, sister in law, aunt and friend.

We would like to acknowledge all those who paid their respects in any way.  Thank you to those who sent Mass or sympathy cards, flowers, and to those who left messages online or via social media.

Thank you to those who called to the wake house, brought food, or who joined us at the Mass. Sincere thanks to all our relatives, friends and neighbours who helped us in so many ways, to grieve as a family.

A special word of thanks to Father Sean Mulligan for his spiritual support and the comforting requiem Mass. We convey our appreciation also to the Sacristan and everyone who took part in the Liturgy, especially the readers, and our musician Louise Coyle who provided the beautiful music.

Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the gravediggers Tommy and Gary Boyle for preparing Sybil’s final resting place. Our thanks also to Sheenagh of Bumble Bee Gardens for the beautiful floral tributes and to Fintona Funeral Catering Group for the very welcome refreshments after the funeral.

We would also like to thank Big Ridge Cycling Club for their guard of honour.

And finally we send our grateful thanks to all the health professionals who helped with Sybil’s care at home, especially Audrey Gallagher, the Care Plus team, the district nurses, Fintona Medical Centre and the Marie Curie team.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude.

Sybil is ever loved and sadly missed, may her gentle, generous soul be granted eternal rest. Sybil’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Lawrence’s Church, Fintona on Saturday 31st October at 6pm. Our Lady pray for her.
