McQuaid William (Bill), Dromore, Co Tyrone, formerly of 105 Longhill Road, Tullymagough, Dromore, BT78 3TR, died peacefully in the South West Acute Hospital, on Monday 13th April 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Maureen. Treasured father of Martin (Mandy), Kieran (Michelle), Aidan (Geraldine) and Liz Moore. Loving and devoted grandfather to his 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Cherished brother of the late Hugh, brother in law of Mary.
Bill will be reposing in his late residence from 4pm until 10pm on Tuesday 14th April 2026 and from 12noon until 9pm on Wednesday 15th April 2026. There will be a shuttle bus service from Adrian O’Neills Farm Sheds / Packie Donnelly’s Sheds, Esker Road, Dromore, BT78 3LA from 6pm each day.
Bill will leave his late residence at 10.20am on Thursday 16th April for 11am requiem Mass in St Davog’s Church, Dromore, followed by his burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

For those who wish to show a presence on the funeral route, Bill will travel from the Longhill Road and along the Irvinestown Road, Church Street, Main Street and the Omagh Road to arrive at St. Davog’s Church for 10.50am.
Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughter, daughters in law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sister in law, nephews, nieces and entire family circle and friends. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.
