Acknowledgement
Francie Flynn R.I.P.
(Formerly Doon, Tempo, Co. Fermanagh)
Died 25th January 2026
We, the family of the late Francie Flynn, wish to express our deep gratitude and warmest thanks to everyone who offered condolences, prayers and support during our recent sad bereavement.
Thank you to everyone who called to the wake in our home, especially those who brought food, and Brian who supplied the shuttle bus. Involvement of family during the wake, providing refreshments, parking or driving the shuttle bus is much appreciated. Our thanks also to those who sent Mass or Sympathy cards, messages, flowers or donations in lieu, to those who lined the funeral route, formed a guard of honour outside the Church or joined us at the requiem Mass. We are truly grateful to our relatives, friends and neighbours for supporting us. Your kindness, presence and kind words have brought us strength and solace during this difficult time.
A special word of thanks to Fr. Raymond Donnelly, C.C. for his spiritual guidance and for celebrating the very comforting requiem Mass along with Fr. Halton, P.P., and also for the preparations by the Sacristan. The participation of family as readers, gift bearers and musicians provided additional consolation and reassurance during the funeral service.
Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for their professionalism, dignity and care in guiding us through the arrangements. Thank you also to the gravedigger for preparing Francie’s final resting place.
Finally, we would like to extend thanks to the wonderful staff of Ann’s Three Rivers Nursing Home for caring for Francie with such respect and empathy during his time there. As a family, we will never forget your kindness.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our deepest gratitude and appreciation.
Francie’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Tempo on Sunday 1st March at 11.00am.
Maureen, Sandra, Frankie, Jim, David and Martin.
