Acknowledgement – Frank Cullen, formerly of Killadroy Road, Cormore, Eskra, Co Tyrone.
Died 13th November 2024.
We the family of the late Frank would like to express our deep appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised, prayed for, and supported us through our recent sad bereavement. Frank was a widely respected gentleman, dearly loved husband of Tan, adored father of Nuala, Brian, Niall, Pearse and Deirdre, father in law of Damian, Tonya, Michelle, Mairead and Neil, and a devoted and dearly loved grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, cousin and friend.
We would like to acknowledge all those who paid their respects in any way. Thank you to those who sent Mass cards or sympathy cards, and to those who left messages online or via social media.
Thank you to those who called to the wake house, helped or brought food and to those who lined the funeral route or who joined us at the funeral Mass.
Sincere thanks to all our relatives, neighbours and friends who helped us in so many ways to grieve as a family.
Special thanks to Canon Noel McGahan P.P. for his spiritual support over many years, and to Father Seán Mulligan for his spiritual support and the very comforting requiem Mass. We convey our appreciation also to the Sacristan and everyone who took part in the Liturgy, especially our readers, our singer Siobhan Robinson, and our musicians; Plunkett McGartland, Nicole Cullen and Emily Cullen who provided the beautiful reverent and uplifting music.
Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner, in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the gravedigger Brendan for preparing Frank’s final resting place. Thank you also to the staff of the Bridge Tavern for the very welcome refreshments after the funeral.
And finally, we send our sincere and grateful thanks to all the medical professionals with whom Frank came into contact, especially the nurses and medical staff of Ward 8 South West Acute Hospital, and Frank’s devoted carers Imelda, Pat, Corein and Audrey. We are very grateful for the kindness, care and respect shown to Frank.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude.
Frank is loved and missed every day, may his passionate, generous, kind soul be granted peace and eternal rest. Franks Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Patrick’s Church, Eskra on Saturday 14th December at 11am.
Our Lady pray for him.
