The family of the late Mary wish to express our sincere appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised, prayed for and supported us, during our recent sad bereavement. Mary was a widely respected lady, beloved wife of the late Brian, adored mother of Marty (Jacqui), and Bernadette (Andrew), devoted grandmother, sister, sister in law, aunt, cousin and friend.
We would like to acknowledge all those who paid their respects in any way. Thank you to those who sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, or flowers, and to those who left messages online or via social media.
Thank you to everyone who called to the wake house, helped, or brought food, and to those who lined the funeral route or who joined us at the funeral Mass.We would like to give sincere thanks to all of our relatives, friends and neighbours who helped us in so many ways to grieve as a family.
A special word of thanks to Father Padraig MacKenna P.P. and Canon John McKenna PE for their spiritual support and the very comforting Requiem Mass. We convey our appreciation also to the Sacristan and everyone who took part in the Liturgy, especially our readers and our singer Sinead Taggart and accompanist Rory, who provided the beautiful, reverent and uplifting music.
Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the gravedigger for preparing Mary’s final resting place.
