Acknowledgement – Kevin Harrison, formerly of Gargadis Road, Trillick, Co Tyrone. Died 9th August 2024.

The late Kevin’s wife Colette and his extended family would like to express their deep appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised, prayed for, and supported us through our recent sad bereavement. Kevin was a dearly loved husband, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend.

We would like to acknowledge all those who paid their respects in any way. Thank you to those who sent Mass or sympathy cards, and to those who left messages online.

Thank you to those who called to the Wake house, brought food, or helped. Thank you to those who lined the route when Kevin was received into St Macartan’s Church and to those who joined us at the requiem Mass in person or via the webcam.

Sincere thanks to all our relatives, friends and neighbours who helped us in so many ways, to grieve as a family.

A special word of thanks to Father Padraig MacKenna PP and Canon John McKenna PE for their spiritual support to Kevin throughout his illness, and the very comforting requiem Mass. We convey our appreciation also to the Sacristan and everyone who took part in the Liturgy, especially the Eucharistic ministers, readers, and musicians Moya Harpist, Odhran and Clodagh Sweeney who provided the beautiful, reverent, and uplifting music.

Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional way in which the funeral arrangements were carried out, and to the gravedigger for preparing Kevin’s final resting place. Our thanks also to Mary Howe for the lovely floral tribute and to the Trillick Leisure Centre Ladies for the very welcome refreshments after the funeral.

And finally, we send our sincere thanks and deep appreciation to all the medical professionals with whom Kevin came into contact, especially the staff of The County Nursing Home who cared so well for Kevin, we are so very grateful for all your care, help and assistance and for the warmth and kindness shown to Kevin.

We would also like to thank everyone who visited Kevin or sent Mass Bouquet and Get Well cards during his illness. Your support was very much appreciated.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude.

Kevin is forever loved and sadly missed, may his gentle, generous, kind soul be granted peace and eternal rest, his Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St. Macartan’s Church, Trillick on Friday 6th September at 8pm.
