The family of the late John wish to express our deep gratitude and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised, prayed for and supported us, during our recent sad bereavement. John was a treasured father of Jamie, Ryan and Sean. Loving and devoted grandfather of Leo and Ronnie. Cherished brother of Kevin, Marian, Seamus, Stephen, Teresa, Irene and Annette. Beloved son of the late Lawrence and Molly.
Sincere thanks to everyone who sent Mass cards, Sympathy cards, messages, flowers or donations in lieu. Thank you to everyone who called to the wake house, helped or brought food, lined the funeral route and to all those who joined us at the Requiem Mass or via the webcam.
We would also like to convey our heartfelt thanks to our extended family, kind neighbours and friends who helped out in so many ways. We were so blessed to have your support and help throughout this difficult time.
A special word of thanks to Rev. Father Seán Mulligan C.C. for all his spiritual support and for the very comforting requiem Mass. We convey our appreciation also to the Sacristan and everyone who took part in the Liturgy, especially our readers, gift bearers and eucharistic ministers and to Louise who provided the beautiful reverent and uplifting music.
Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner, in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the gravedigger Tommy for preparing John’s final resting place. Also to the St. Patrick’s Hall ladies for the most welcome refreshments after the burial.
Finally, we send our sincere thanks and deep appreciation to all the medical professionals and carers that John came into contact with, we are very grateful for all your help, and for the warmth and kindness shown to John.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude.
John is loved and missed every day. May his kind, gentle, generous soul be granted peace and eternal rest. His Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Lawrences Church, Fintona on Friday 23rd August at 7.30pm. Our Lady pray for him.
