Acknowledgement – Michael Kostadinov-McCabe, Omagh & Seskinore, Co Tyrone. Died 13th July 2024.
The family of the late Michael would like to express our deep appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised, prayed for, and supported us through our recent sad bereavement. Michael was a widely respected gentleman in the community and a dearly loved husband, father, son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, and friend.
We would like to acknowledge all those who paid their respects in any way. Thank you to those who sent Mass or sympathy cards, flowers or donations in lieu and to those who left messages online or via social media.
Thank you to those who called to the wake at Grianan House Funeral Home, and to those who helped or brought food. Sincere thanks to those who lined the funeral route or who joined us to mourn at the Mass.
We would like to thank all of our relatives, friends and neighbours and Michael’s Post Office Colleagues and customers who helped us in so many ways, during this difficult time to grieve as a family.
A special word of thanks to Father Seán McCartan PP for his spiritual support and the very comforting requiem Mass. Thank you also to Canon Noel McGahan PP, Clogher who concelebrated Mass and to Father Emyln McGinn, PP for his continual spiritual support. We convey our appreciation also to the altar server and everyone who took part in the Liturgy, especially our readers, singer Noleen Neil and musician Alana Kelly, who provided the beautiful reverent and uplifting music. Appreciation is also extended to all who assisted with car parking and setting up the chapel before the funeral.
Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the gravedigger Brendan for preparing Michael’s final resting place. Our thanks also to Roisin of Nettles and Petals and Sheenagh of Bumble Bee Garden for the beautiful floral tributes and to the Fintona St Patrick’s Hall ladies for the very welcome refreshments after the funeral. Thanks also to Albin Repatriation Service for bringing Michael home from Croatia.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude.
Michael is forever loved and sadly missed, may his gentle, kind, generous soul be granted peace and eternal rest.
Michael’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Malachy’s Church, Seskinore, on Sunday 11th August 2024 at 10am.
Our Lady pray for him.
