We the family of the late Rose wish to express our sincere appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised, prayed for and supported us, during our recent sad bereavement. Rose was a widely respected lady, beloved wife of the late Willie, adored mother of Gerard (Eileen), Tina (PJ), Bernie (Gabriel), Teresa (P), Liam (Mary), Kieran (Mary), Declan (Margretta), devoted grandmother and great grandmother, sister in law, aunt, cousin and friend.
We would like to acknowledge all those who paid their respects in any way. Thank you to those who sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, or flowers, and to those who left messages online or via social media.
Thank you to everyone who called to the wake house, helped, or brought food, and to those who lined the funeral route or who joined us at the funeral Mass.
We’d like to give sincere thanks to all of our relatives, friends and neighbours who helped us in so many ways to grieve as a family.
A special word of thanks to Father Padraig MacKenna P.P. and Father Gerard Mongan for their spiritual support and the very comforting Requiem Mass. Special thanks also to Canon John McKenna PE and Father Padraig for visiting Mum every first Friday to attend to her spiritual needs. We convey our appreciation also to the Sacristan and everyone who took part in the Liturgy, especially our readers and our singer Eleanor McGrath and accompanist Ronan Warnock, who provided the beautiful, reverent and uplifting music.
Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for their support and the dignified and professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the gravedigger for preparing Rose’s final resting place. Our thanks also to Sheenagh of Bumblebee Garden for the beautiful floral tributes and to the Trillick Hall ladies for the very welcome refreshments after the burial.
We extend a sincere thank you to the PSNI & NIAS Paramedics who attended to Rose, for all their help and care for Rose, and their support to our family, their kindness will be remembered with gratitude. Our sincere thanks also to all the medical staff and carers with whom Rose came into contact, especially Fintona Medical Centre and Declan O’Hagan pharmacist, we are very grateful for all your help and assistance. Special thanks go to her carer Isabelle, for the warmth and kindness, shown to Rose.
A special thanks for those who provided the buses to and from the Wake House; Noel McQuaid, Keys brothers and the Cheeky Fox Restaurant, and to Togherdoo Methodist Church for the use of their car park.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest appreciation.
Rose is loved and missed every day, may her gentle, generous, kind soul be granted peace and eternal rest. Her Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Macartan’s Church, Trillick on Saturday 10th August at 8pm. St. Martin pray for her.
