Acknowledgement – Marie Molloy, formerly of Gortin Road, Omagh. Died 10th July 2024.
The family of the late Marie would like to express our deep appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised, prayed for, and supported us through our recent sad bereavement. Marie was a widely respected lady, dearly loved wife of the late Sean, adored mother of Louise and Conor, mother in law of Thomas and Caroline, grandmother of Quillan, Conleth, Faolán and Cora, sister, sister in law, aunt, cousin and friend.
We would like to acknowledge all those who paid their respects in any way. Thank you to those who sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, or flowers, and to those who left messages online or via social media.
Thank you to everyone who called to the wake house, helped, or brought food, and to Dolan’s Shop for providing refreshments during the wake.
Thank you to those who lined the funeral route or who joined us at the funeral Mass.
Sincere thanks to all our relatives, neighbours and friends who helped us in so many ways throughout this difficult time.
A special word of thanks to Father Kevin McElhennon PP for his spiritual support and the very comforting requiem Mass and to Father Declan McGeehan for his spiritual support in our home. We convey our appreciation also to the Sacristan and everyone who took part in the Liturgy, especially our readers, and our singer Louise Coyle who provided the beautiful reverent and uplifting music.
Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner, in which, the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the gravedigger Raymond for preparing Marie’s final resting place. Our thanks also to Roisin of Nettles and Petals for the lovely floral tributes and to Damien of Grimes Media for recording Marie’s final journey and her Funeral.
We also extend a sincere thank you to the PSNI & NIAS Paramedics who attended to Marie, for all their help and care for Marie, and their support to our family, their kindness will be remembered with gratitude.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest appreciation.
Marie is loved and missed every day, may her gentle, generous, kind soul be granted peace and eternal rest. Her Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday the 3rd of August in Christ the King Church, Strathroy at 6.30pm. Our Lady pray for her.
