McCarney Donal, Fintona, died peacefully in the Millcroft Nursing Home on Saturday 7th August 2021. Cherished brother to Marie Gavin and the late Fidelma Platt, Malachy, Aidan and Gerald. Donal will be reposing in his late residence 155 Edergole Road, Fintona, BT78 2FF from 5pm on Tuesday 10th August. Donal will leave his late residence at 10.25am on Thursday 12th August for 11.00 am requiem mass in St Lawrence’s Church Fintona followed by his burial in the adjoining cemetery. For those who wish to show a presence along the funeral route, Donal will travel from the Edergole Road, along Loughmuck Road, Church Street, Main Street, Tattymoyle Road and Lisdergan Road to arrive at St Lawrence’s Church for 10.55am. In light of the Coronavirus and in the interests of health and safety within the community, the house will be strictly private with social distancing being adhered to at the funeral. Family Flowers only please and donations in lieu kindly accepted for Chest Heart & Stroke c/o McAtee Funeral Directors. Alternatively, the funeral mass may be viewed via the Donacavey parish webcam. Deeply regretted by his loving sister, in-laws, nephews, nieces and entire family circle. Our Lady pray for him.

Another sad day we are thinking of Donal is amazing personality his wonderful laugh how he liked to pinch the ladies bums. to lose 2 special people in your life so quickly is cruel . Hopefully you can take some comfort that he was given a wonderful life , by everybody . All your true friends are thinking of you today with sadness in our hearts RIP Donal xx????
