  9. A family chain is broken,
    And nothing seems the same.

You fought so hard it seemed impossible
that God dare to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly,
In death, we’ll do the same.

It breaks our hearts to lose you.
    You do not go alone.
A little part of each of us went with you,
The day God called you home.

    A life of beautiful memories,
Your friendship a gift to pride.
Those nearest will no longer see you,
But you’ll always be at their side.

    A family chain is broken,
    And nothing seems the same,
But as God calls us one by one,
    The chain will link again.
