Keown Michael (Mickey), Dromore, Co Tyrone formerly of 46 Newpark Road, Dergany, Dromore, BT78 3JU died peacefully at South West Acute Hospital on Friday 31st December 2021. Beloved husband of the late Rose (nee McCaffrey). Cherished father of Geraldine Kelly (Byran), Seamus, Caroline McNamee (Dominic), Michael and Pauline Hegarty (Sean). Devoted Grandfather to Thomas, Charlene, Charmaine, Tristan, Bronagh and Dylan. Treasured brother of the late Rita (Murray) and Cornelius. The funeral cortege will leave from outside Mickey’s late residence on Monday 3rd January at 10.20am for 11am requiem mass in St Davog’s Church, Dromore, followed by his burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu kindly accepted for Palliative Care Ward Omagh c/o McAtee Funeral Directors. For those who wish to show a presence along the funeral route, Mickey will travel from the Newpark Road, along the Galbally Road, Main Street and Omagh Road to arrive at St Davogs Church for 10.50am. In light of the Coronavirus and in the interests of health and safety within the community, the house will be strictly private with social distancing being adhered to at the funeral. Alternatively the funeral Mass may be viewed via the Dromore Parish webcam. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving daughters, sons, sons in law, grandchildren, great grandchild, nieces and nephews. Our Lady pray for him.
