McCarron Martina, Fintona, nee Brunton formally of 223 Corbally Road, Fintona BT78 2HE, died peacefully in the South West Acute hospital on Wednesday 15th April. Beloved wife of Packie. Devoted mother to Seamus, Paul, Kevin and Mary. Mother in-law to Julie (Mc Goldrick). Loving sister to Tommy, Vincent, Martin, Dermott, Kathleen (McBride) and the late Joe, Anna (Cassidy), Michael and Brendan. Loving and caring grandmother to her 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. For those who wish to show a presence along the funeral route, Martina will leave her late residence at 1.45pm and travel along the Kilnahusogue Road, Ecclesville road and then the Lisdergan road for interment in St Lawrence’s Cemetery Fintona on Thursday 16th April at 2pm. Family flowers only, donations in lieu to Cash for Scrubs Omagh & Fermanagh Area c/o Mc Atee Funeral Directors. In light of the Coronavirus virus and in the interests of health and safety within the community, the burial will be strictly private. A memorial mass to celebrate Martina’s life will be celebrated at a later date. Deeply regretted by her loving husband, sons, daughter, brothers, sister, daughter in-law, grandchildren, nephews, nieces and entire family circle. Our Lady of Knock pray for her.

I’m sending my greatest condolences on the passing of Martina. I will never forget the kindness and hospitality she and you all showed Mary and me, two young travelers from America looking for the comfort of family while being so far away from home during the holidays. I have very fond memories of Martina and the time we spent with you all in December 1991. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

I am deeply shocked and wish to pass on our sincere sympathy to the whole family circle at the loss of your dear wife, mother and grandmother . She was my Mum’s home help and was a very caring , loving lady and we were very grateful and appreciative of everything she did for our Mum. She went up and beyond the call of duty and truly loved the people she cared for. I live in Canada but had great chats and laughs with Martina every time I stayed with Mum . I watched her show great compassion and dignity to our Mum . She was a very special person and I’m sure she will be missed by many.
