The death has occurred of Josephine McMahon, Dromore, Co Tyrone.

McMahon Josephine (nee Brown), Dromore, died peacefully in the South West Acute Hospital on Thursday 21st January 2021, formerly of 31 Gardrum Heights, Dromore, BT78 8JE. Beloved Mother to Celine (Nigel), Ryan (Emma), Lorraine Bradley (Conor), Steven, Gary, Rachel (Ryan), Michelle (Stephen) and Darragh. Best Friend to Chris. Devoted grandmother to her nine grandchildren. Treasured sister to Clare McCartan and Niall. In light of the Coronavirus and in the interests of health and safety within the community, the house will be strictly private and the funeral limited to 25 persons. Josephine will leave her late residence on Tuesday for requiem mass in St Davogs Church, Dromore, followed by a private cremation at Lakelands Crematorium. Family flowers only donations in lieu to Ataxia Foundation Ireland c/o McAtee Funeral Directors. The funeral mass may be viewed via the Dromore Parish webcam at 11am on Tuesday 26th January 2021. Deeply regretted by her loving daughters, sons, sons in-law, daughter in-law, dear friend, grandchildren, sister, brother, nephews, nieces and entire family circle. Our Lady pray for her.

  1. Josie was a beautiful person. Kind generous and full of life. I began my nurse training with Josie back in January 1978. Time has passed by so quickly, we may not have seen one another in many years, but the beautiful memories of our younger days will be cherished. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam.
