The death has occurred of Jimmy Colton, Fintona

Colton Jimmy, (Fintona) died peacefully at South West Acute Hospital on Sunday 17th January 2021. Treasured brother to Breege Quinn and Joanne Colton Gordon. Brother in-law to Stewart. Father to Ann and Mary. Beloved partner of the late Betty Quinn. Son of the late Bridget and Johnny. Formerly of McCaughey Terrace. In light of the Coronavirus and in the interests of health and safety within the community, the house will be strictly private and the funeral limited to 25 persons. The funeral cortege will leave from outside his sister Joanne’s residence 16 McCaughey Terrace on Tuesday 19th January at 10.30am for 11.00am requiem mass in St Lawrence’s Church Fintona, followed by his burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. For those who wish to show a presence along the funeral route, Jimmy will travel from McCaughey Terrace down to Roger’s corner, across to the Tattymoyle Road and Lisdergan Road to arrive at 11am. Please maintain safe social distancing at all times and ensure minimal contact. Alternatively, the funeral mass can be viewed via Donacavey Parish webcam. Deeply regretted by his loving sisters, daughters, brother in-law, nephews, nieces and entire family circle. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.
