The death has occurred of Ellen (Nell) McAleer, Dromore, Co Tyrone

McAleer Ellen (Nell) (nee O’Brien), Dromore, died peacefully at home on Tuesday 19th January 2021. Beloved wife of Seamus, treasured mother to Anne-Marie Peace (Jeff), Joe (Kathy) and Brendan (Clodagh). Devoted grandmother to Éile, Ellen, Ryan, James, Caitlin, Jack, Jonjo, Sean and Jorgia. In light of the Coronavirus and in the interests of health and safety within the community, the house will be strictly private and the funeral limited to 25 persons. Nell will leave her late residence 93 St Dympna’s Road, Dromore BT78 3DL on Thursday 21st January at 10.30am for 11.00am requiem mass in St Davog’s Church Dromore, followed by her burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only donations in lieu to Care for Cancer c/o McAtee Funeral Directors. For those who wish to show a presence along the funeral route, Nell will travel from St Dympna’s Road, along the Esker Road, Church Brae, Main Street and Omagh Road to arrive at St Davogs Church for 10.55am. Please maintain safe social distancing at all times and ensure minimal contact. Alternatively, the funeral mass can be viewed via the Dromore Parish webcam. Deeply regretted by her loving husband, daughter, sons, brothers, grandchildren, in laws, nephews, nieces and entire family circle. Our Lady pray for her.
