King, Dermot, Fintona, Co Tyrone, formerly of The Goal Post Bar, Main Street and 35 Carryglass Road, Fintona, BT78 2LB, died peacefully at his partner Mary’s home, on Saturday 28th March 2026. Beloved son of Sean and the late Vera, cherished brother of Barry and the late Maurice. Loving partner of Mary.
Dermot will be reposing in Grianan House Funeral Home, 4 Carnalea Road, Fintona, Co Tyrone, BT78 2BY from 2.30pm until 9pm on Monday 30th March 2026 and from 2.30pm until 9pm on Tuesday 31st March 2026.
Dermot will leave his late residence at 10.00am on Wednesday 1st of April 2026 for 11am Requiem Mass in St. Lawrence’s Church, Fintona, followed by his burial afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.
Family flowers only please with donations in lieu kindly accepted for Care for Cancer c/o McAtee Funeral Directors and sent to 163 Edergole Road, Fintona, Co Tyrone, BT78 2NQ.
For those who wish to show a presence on the funeral route, Dermot will travel from the Carryglass Road, and along the Tonagh Road, Tattymoyle Road, Mill Street, Main Street, Tattymoyle Road and the Lisdergan Road, to arrive at St. Lawrence’s Church for 10.50am.
Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving father, brother, partner, and entire family circle and friends. Our Lady pray for him.
