Moore Lavina (Fintona, Co Tyrone) died suddenly on Wednesday 7th April 2021. Mother to Emma, Shannon and Jamie. Sister to Colette and Darren. Grandmother to Senán. Auntie to Shauna and Kirstin. Daughter of the late Norman and Bridie. The funeral cortege will leave from outside her late residence 41 Ashfield Gardens Fintona BT78 2DD on Saturday 10th April for 12 noon requiem mass in St Lawrence’s Church, Fintona, followed by a private cremation at Lakelands Crematorium. In light of the Coronavirus and in the interests of health and safety within the community, the house will be strictly private and the funeral limited to 25 persons. Mary Agnes passed away peacefully in the South West Acute Hospital on 18th February. She was a widely respected and much loved mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. We, her family wish to express our heartfelt thanks to those who sympathised and supported us in our recent sad bereavement. We have been overwhelmed by the sheer volume of Mass and sympathy cards, letters, private messages and telephone calls that we have received. We would like to acknowledge all those who lined the route from her home to the church, those who carried Mum’s coffin and paid their respects in any way. A special thank you to Canon Patrick MacEntee and Fr. Dolan for their support and the comforting Requiem Mass. We convey our appreciation to the Sacristan, musician, singer, readers and everyone who assisted with the Mass. Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors and the gravedigger for the way the arrangements were carried out. McCarney Mary, Fintona nee Campbell died peacefully at home on Wednesday 31st March 2021 surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of Patsy (PJ). Treasured mother to Marie (Kevin), Paddy (Frances), Barry (Tracy), Nuala, Martin (Margie), Dermot (Brenda), Terry (Martina) and Noel (Erin). Cherished sister to Joe, Annie (McGee) and Phyllis (McGuigan) and the late Packie, Cissie, Francie, Jim, Michael, John, Bridie and Ellen. Devoted grandmother to her 21 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Mary will leave her late residence; Horse Park – 76 Corkill Road, Eskra, Omagh, BT78 1UY on Friday 2nd April for Service of The Word in St Lawrence’s Church Fintona, followed by her burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. House is strictly private – immediate family only.
In light of COVID 19 the funeral will be limited to 25 persons. Alternatively, the service may be viewed at 11am on Friday 2nd April via Donacavey Parish webcam. Nell passed away peacefully at home on the 19th of January, a widely respected and much-loved wife, mother, sister and friend. We, her family, wish to express our heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised and supported us in our recent sad bereavement. We convey our appreciation also to the Sacristan and everyone who assisted with the Mass, especially our musicians who provided the beautiful music. Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors and the grave digger for the dignified and professional way the funeral arrangements were carried out.

We extend a sincere thank you to the community nurses and the staff of SWAH and Ward 50 in Altnagelvin, who cared so professionally and compassionately for Nell during her illness.

Mc Coole Tommy (Fintona, Co Tyrone) died peacefully at Omagh Hospital and Primary Care Complex on 4th March 2021 surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Rosie. Cherished father to Mary, Lena, Margaret, Pauric, Teresa, Martin, Donald, Stephen, Jackie, Bernie and the late Tommy, Patricia, Una and Seamus. Much loved grandfather and great grandfather to his 31 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. Brother to Molly and the late Frank, John, Packie, Lily, Susan, Maggie, Kitty and Ena. Tommy’s remains will leave his late residence, 24 Tonagh Road, Fintona BT78 2NU at 10.30am on Monday 8th March 2021 for 11.00am requiem mass in St Lawrence’s Church Fintona followed by his burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. In light of the Coronavirus and in the interests of health and safety within the community, the house will be private, and the funeral limited to 25 persons. Fidelma and the entire family circle, would like to express our sincere thanks to everyone who sympathised with us on our recent sudden bereavement.
To those who sent Mass or sympathy cards, who wrote touching letters, telephoned, sent messages via social media, left floral tributes and refreshments. To the many neighbours, friends and guard of honour who stood out as a mark of respect throughout Michael’s final journey as the Funeral travelled to St Lawrence’s Church, Fintona where more people awaited the arrival of the cortege.
Special thanks to Father Connolly who celebrated the Requiem Mass, delivering such a personal and meaningful homily and everyone that joined us via the webcam. Loving and devoted mother to Pauline Kelly (Peter), Claire Law (Andy), Karen Hart (Paul), Brian (Barbara), Collette Rodgers (Tom), Roisin Hayes (Dave), Cathal (Claire) and James (Lia). Cherished sister of Mary McCaffrey, Peter, Hugh, Eugene, Lawrence, Bernadette Shields, Desmond and the late John, Frank, Michael and Patrick.
